Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the endgate handle bezel. Refer to Endgate Adjustment .
    2. Fig 1: Removing Endgate Lock Cylinder (Avalanche)

  2. Release the tabs (2) retaining the cylinder to the bezel with a flat bladed tool.
  3. Remove the lock cylinder (1).
