Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the endgate handle bezel. Refer to Endgate Adjustment .
  2. Release the endgate handle linkage rod retainers. Refer to Endgate Adjustment .
    3. Fig 1: Endgate Handle (Avalanche)

  3. Remove the 3 bolts (1) that retain the handle to the endgate.
  4. Remove the endgate spoiler. Refer to Spoiler Replacement - Rear .
  5. Remove the handle.
