Removal Procedure

  1. Ensure that the headlamp switch is in the OFF position.
  2. Remove the rear compartment cover assembly.
    3. Fig 1: Panel Assembly Screws & Electrical Connector

  3. Remove the cargo box bridge center panel screws (1).
  4. Rotate the cargo box bridge center downward to release.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector (2).
  6. Remove the cargo box bridge center from the vehicle.
  7. Remove the high mounted stop lamp from the cargo box bridge center. Refer to HIGH MOUNTED STOP LAMP REPLACEMENT (UTILITIES) or HIGH MOUNTED STOP LAMP REPLACEMENT (ESCALADE) or HIGH MOUNTED STOP LAMP REPLACEMENT (ESCALADE EXT) or HIGH MOUNTED STOP LAMP REPLACEMENT (AVALANCHE) .
