NOTE: This article covers base brake systems only. On models equipped with Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) see appropriate ANTI-LOCK article.

NOTE: On vehicles with full-floating axle, axle shaft and hub must be removed to remove brake disc or drum. See Figure and Figure . On vehicles with semi-floating axle, brake drum can be removed without removing axle shaft.
