Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE in General Information.
  2. Remove the engine oil drain plug and drain the engine oil.

  3. Disconnect the engine oil level sensor electrical connector.

  4. Remove the bolt from the engine oil level sensor.
  5. Remove the engine oil level sensor from the oil pan.
