Park Brake Cable - Front: Removal

  1. Release the park brake, if applied.
  2. Remove the left trim panel knee bolster. See appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT.
  3. Raise the vehicle.
  4. Loosen the park brake cable at the equalizer.
  5. Remove the front park brake cable from the connector.
  6. Remove the retainer and the grommet.
  7. Remove the front brake cable from the park brake pedal.
  8. Remove the front park brake cable.
