Disc Brake Hardware - Front Single Piston: Removal

  1. Raise the vehicle.
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
  3. Remove the brake caliper. See BRAKE CALIPER - FRONT SINGLE PISTON .
  4. Remove the front brake pads.
  5. Remove the front disc brake inner pad retainer spring.
  6. Remove the following parts from the brake caliper. Front brake caliper bolt. Front brake caliper bolt sleeve. Front brake caliper bolt sleeve bushing.
  7. Lightly brush all brake pad contact areas.
