Brake Drum Replacement: Removal

  1. Raise the vehicle and support the vehicle with suitable safety stands.
  2. Remove the tire and the wheel from the vehicle.
  3. Mark the relationship of the rear brake drum to the axle for reference.
  4. Remove the rear brake drum retainers if present.
  5. Remove the rear brake drum from the vehicle.
