Stoplight Switch: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Aztek and 2003 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the stoplight switch into the slotted grooves until switch is fully depressed against the brake pedal, then turn the switch clockwise approximately 1/4 turn, the switch should now be installed and adjusted. See Fig 1.
  2. Connect the electrical connectors.
  3. Install the left side instrument panel insulator.
  4. If necessary, adjust the stoplight switch. See STOPLIGHT SWITCH  under ADJUSTMENTS & INSPECTION.
