Removal Procedure

Open the floor console door.

Insert a small suitably prying device to remove the lock cylinder retainer clip.

Insert the key into the lock cylinder and turn it to the locked position.

If the key is lost the rivet must be ground off and the lock arm must be removed in order to allow the proper clearance for the lock cylinder removal.

Push with your fingers on the lock cylinder in order to remove.
