A/T Shift Lock Control - Disassemble

1. Remove the upper and lower trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers - Disassemble - Off Vehicle.

Important: Using excessive force in removing the automatic transmission shift lock control from the steering column may cause damage.

2. Remove the automatic transmission shift lock control from the steering column.
3. Use a screwdriver to pry the automatic transmission shift lock control from the steering column jacket assembly.
