Air Temperature Actuator

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the IP extension.
2. Remove the engine cover.
3. Remove the screws that retain the actuator to the heater assembly.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector (2).




5. Remove the actuator from the heater assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the actuator to the heater assembly.
2. Connect the electrical connector.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




3. Install the screws that retain the actuator to the heater assembly.

Tighten
Tighten the screws that retain the actuator to the heater assembly to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

4. Install the engine cover.
5. Install the IP extension.
