Test P: Chime Inoperative

  1. If audible warnings diagnostic system check has been performed, go to next step. If audible warnings diagnostic system check has not been performed, go to AUDIBLE WARNINGS DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM
  2. Replace BCM. See appropriate BODY CONTROL MODULES article. When repair is complete, go to next step.
  3. Operate system and verify chime operates properly. If chime operates properly, repair is complete. If chime does not operate properly, go to step  1 .
