1 Did you perform the RTD Diagnostic System Check? Go to Step 2  Go to Diagnostic System Check - Real Time Damping 
2 Verify the fault is present.
Does the system operate normally?
Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems Go to Step 3

  1. Install a scan tool.
  2. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  3. Using a scan tool, access the RTD Special Functions menu and command the SERVICE RIDE CONTROL message OFF.
Does the message go off when commanded?
Go to Step 5  Go to Step 4 
4 Replace the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
Did you complete the replacement?
Go to Step 6  -

IMPORTANT:

After replacement, use the scan tool to perform the set up procedure (re-calibrate) located under Special Functions (F8: Recalibration) for the suspension control module.

Replace the Suspension Control Module. Refer to Electronic Suspension Control Module Replacement (Suburban/Yukon XL) , Electronic Suspension Control Module Replacement (Tahoe/Yukon) .Did you complete the replacement?
Go to Step 6  -
6 Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
Did you correct the condition?
System OK Go to Step 2
