Removal & Installation

  1. Remove the pushrod retainer from the brake pedal pin. See Figure .
  2. Remove the stop lamp switch from the pushrod.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the stop lamp switch.
  4. To install, connect the electrical connector to the stop lamp switch. See Figure .
  5. Install the stop lamp switch onto the pushrod.
  6. Install a NEW pushrod retainer on the brake pedal pin. Use an 7/16" (11 mm) socket in order to push a NEW clip onto the pin.
