Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the I/P carrier. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement .
  2. Remove the driver's side hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  3. Remove the driver's side seat, if equipped with power. Refer to Front Seat Removal and Installation - Bucket .
  4. Disconnect the electrical harness from the underhood electrical center. Refer to Underhood Electrical Center or Junction Block Replacement .
  5. Disconnect the wire harness from the hood, if equipped with underhood camp.
  6. Remove the harness grommet from the cowl.
  7. Remove the I/P harness from the vehicle.
