Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement (6.0 L w/RPOs Y91 and Z88) , Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement (4.8 L, 5.3 L, and 6.0 L) .
    2. IMPORTANT:

    Clean the area around the sensor before removal. Do not allow debris to enter the engine.

  2. Disconnect the oil pressure sensor electrical connector.

  3. Remove the oil pressure sensor using the J 41712 or equivalent.
