When the IPC detects a low voltage at the ignition 0 voltage circuit, the IPC will not communicate with the scan tool. The odometer and the PRNDL displays will not illuminate. The season odometer will display if the trip reset switch is pressed, and the IPC will communicate with the scan tool until the trip reset switch is released.
DTC B1367 can only be read by the scan tool as a history code once the fault is removed.
This DTC cannot be retrieved with current status. Refer to Scan Tool Does Not Communicate with Class 2 Device for diagnosis of a loss of communication with the instrument cluster.
An intermittent condition is likely to be caused by an open condition in the ignition 0 voltage circuit. Refer to Scan Tool Does Not Communicate with Class 2 Device in order to isolate an intermittent condition.
