3	Turn OFF the ignition. Turn the headlamp switch to OFF. Remove the key from the ignition. Open the driver door. Does the chime sound?	-	Go to Step 4	Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems
4	Install a scan tool. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF. With the scan tool observe the Head Lamp Relay Feedback parameter in the BCM data list. Does the Head Lamp Relay Feedback parameter display YES?	-	Go to Headlamps On in Daylight Conditions in Lighting Systems	Go to Step 5
5	Open and close the driver door. With the scan tool observe the Driver Door Jamb Switch parameter in the BCM data list. Does the Driver Door Jamb Switch parameter toggle between ACTIVE and INACTIVE?	-	Go to Step 8	Go to Step 6
6	Disconnect the driver door jamb switch. With the scan tool observe the Driver Door Jamb Switch parameter in the BCM data list. Does the Driver Door Jamb Switch parameter display ACTIVE?	-	Go to Step 7	Go to Step 11
7	Test the driver door jamb switch signal circuit for a short to ground. Refer to Circuit Testing , and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems. Did you find and correct the condition?	-	Go to Step 17	Go to Step 13
8	Disconnect the ignition switch connector C201. Install a scan tool. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF. With the scan tool, observe the Key In Ignition parameter in the BCM data list. Does the Key In Ignition parameter display YES?	-	Go to Step 9	Go to Step 10
9	Test the key in ignition switch signal circuit for a short to ground between the BCM and C201. Refer to Circuit Testing , and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems. Did you find and correct the condition?	-	Go to Step 17	Go to Step 13
10	Test the key in ignition switch signal circuit for a short to ground between the switch and C201. Refer to Circuit Testing , and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems. Did you find and correct the condition?	-	Go to Step 17	Go to Step 12
