Removal & Installation

Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove IPC trim plate by pulling up at left corner to disengage retainers, then pull at top to remove trim plate. Place tilt steering column (if equipped) all the way down. Remove IPC screws. Remove IPC. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten IPC screws to 18 INCH lbs. (2 N.m).
