Removal & Installation

Discharge A/C system, using approved refrigerant recovery/recycling equipment. Disconnect the Orifice Valve wiring harness and position out of the way. See Fig 1. Disconnect the hose clamp and position the line out of the way. Remove Accumulator cover. See Fig 2. Remove A/C Compressor Hose from Accumulator. See Fig 3. Remove Evaporator Hose from Accumulator. See Fig 4. Remove Accumulator from housing. To install reverse removal procedure. Add 2.0 ounces of refrigerant oil to replacement Accumulator.
