Test 3: Security Indicator Light Inoperative

CAUTION: Always remove Brown connector first and install Brown connector last on BCM.

Turn ignition on, engine off. Using scan tool, command SECURITY indicator light ON and OFF. If SECURITY indicator light turned on and off with scan tool command, see DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. If SECURITY indicator light does not turn on and off with scan tool command, replace instrument cluster. See appropriate ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS article.
