Circuit Description

Body Control Module (BCM) monitors door key switch circuit for content theft system. BCM supplies battery voltage to switch circuit. When key is turned in either left or right door lock cylinder, door key switch is activated which pulls door key switch circuit low. When detected by BCM, it will disarm CTD system or cancel CTD alarm. DTC sets when door key switch circuit is shorted to ground for about 3 minutes. System voltage must be 9-16 volts.
