WATER IN FUEL (Diesel)

As a bulb check, WATER IN FUEL indicator will illuminate when ignition is turned on. If no problem exists, indicator will go out when engine is started. If indicator stays on at any time, excessive water in fuel/water separator filter is indicated. Service fuel/water separator filter immediately.
