Removal - Left Rear

  1. Release the park brake.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle.
  3. Loosen the park brake cable equalizer nut in order to remove the park brake left side cable from the park brake equalizer.
  4. Remove the tire and wheel. Remove the brake drum. See BRAKE DRUM .
  5. Remove the park brake cable from the park brake actuator.
  6. Use the Park Brake Cable Release Tool (J-37043) in order to remove the park brake cable. Remove the park brake cable from the backing plate.
