Service Engine Soon Or Check Engine Warning Light

Warning light is part of computerized engine control system. Light will illuminate if a malfunction or diagnostic trouble code exists. As a bulb check, light comes on when ignition is turned on. If no problem exists, light goes out after engine starts.
