Diagnostic Aids

A weak (mechanical failure) fuel solenoid will cause DTC P1217 to set. If any other DTCs are set with DTC P1217, diagnose other DTCs first. If vehicle is running close to DTC setting closure time, vehicle should be checked during cold start-ups and during hot conditions.
