Gauge Always Indicates Low Pressure When Oil Pressure Is Normal

Disconnect fuel pump/oil pressure switch/sender connector. Turn ignition on. If oil pressure gauge indicates high pressure (about 80 or higher), replace fuel pump/oil pressure switch/sender. If oil pressure gauge indicates low or no pressure, repair short to ground in Tan wire between fuel pump/oil pressure switch/sender and instrument cluster. If Tan wire is okay, replace instrument cluster.
