Circuit Description

PCM has ability to increase and decrease amount of fuel to each cylinder to provide smooth idle operation. DTC will set if fuel correction amount exceeds defined limits.

DTC will set when the following conditions are present:

• Engine at idle.
• All engine misfire DTCs ran and passed.
• Engine coolant at normal temperatures.
• Cylinder fault must be constant.
• Fuel correction amount exceeds limits (internal to PCM).
• Conditions are met for 2 seconds.
