Conditions For Setting DTC P0716

DTC will set under the following conditions:
- DTCs P0121, P0122 or P0123 (throttle position sensor) are not present.
- DTCs P0502 or P0503 (output shaft speed sensor) are not present.
- DTC P0717 (input speed sensor signal) is not present.
- DTCs P0751 or P0753 (1-2 shift solenoid) are not present.
- Vehicle speed is more than 25 MPH.
- Transmission is not in Park or Neutral.
- Throttle position is more than 15 percent.
- Engine is running at more than 375 RPM for more than 7 seconds.
- Engine is not in fuel cut off mode.
- Input speed varies by 1300 RPM for more than 5 seconds.
