Conditions For Setting DTC P0502

DTC will set under the following conditions:
- Transmission is not in Park or Neutral.
- DTCs P0122 and P0123 (throttle position sensor) are not present.
- DTCs P0716 and P0717 (input speed sensor signal) are not present.
- DTC P1810 (TFP position switch) is not present.
- Engine torque must be within 80 ft. lbs. (108 N.m) of following specifications: 275 ft. lbs. (345 N.m) on 4.3L, 375 ft. lbs. (470 N.m) on 5.7L or 500 ft. lbs. (627 N.m) on 7.4L.
- Input speed is more than 2500 RPM.
- Output speed is less than 200 RPM for at least 3 seconds.
- Engine is running at more than 475 RPM for 7 seconds.
