Revised Shift Solenoids

Beginning at start of production for 1998 model year, all 4L80-E transmissions were built with revised shift solenoids and a NEW design pressure control solenoid. Revised shift solenoids "A" (10478140) and "B" (1047141) have plastic material for seats. Pressure control solenoid (24209276) has larger micron screens on snout of solenoid for improved operation in cold temperatures. Solenoid "A" connector is still Black. Solenoid "B" connector is still White. On both solenoids, color of plastic snout where "O" ring is located has been changed from White to Brown. Revised solenoids will fit all previous model years.
