Indicator Lights: Brake

BRAKE LED is controlled by Truck Body Control (TBC) module and/or Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) on Class 2 serial data line. LED illuminates when one or more of the following conditions exists:

• Parking brake switch is closed (TBC monitored).
• Brake pressure differential switch is closed (EBCM detects loss of hydraulic pressure).
• As a check, LED illuminates for 3 seconds after ignition is turned on.
