Circuit Description

ATC control module uses VIN information for calculations required for different vehicle calibrations, based on axle ratio, transmission, tire size and engine. System does not know which calibration to use without this data.
When this DTC is set, ignition counts since last fault will be cleared, system will be disabled until valid VIN data is received, and SERVICE 4WD light will be on.
