Disable the park brake cable automatic adjuster. See DISABLING THE PARK BRAKE CABLE AUTOMATIC ADJUSTER . Raise the vehicle. Remove the equalizer. See Fig 1 . Install the equalizer. Lower the vehicle. Enable the park brake cable automatic adjuster. See ENABLING THE PARK BRAKE CABLE AUTOMATIC ADJUSTER . Check the adjustment. See PARKING BRAKE ADJUSTMENT .
