Water In Fuel Indicator Inoperative (MOTORHOME - Diesel)
- Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using test light, backprobe water in fuel sender harness connector Black wire terminal to battery power. If test light lights, go to next step. If test light does not light, repair open in Black wire.
- Using test light, backprobe water in fuel sender harness connector Pink wire terminal to ground. If test light lights, go to next step. If test light does not light, repair open in Pink wire.
- Disconnect water in fuel harness connector. Connect a fused jumper between Yellow/Black wire terminal of connector and ground. If water in fuel indicator remains off, go to next step. If water in fuel indicator lights, replace water in fuel sender.
- Remove fused jumper. Using test light, backprobe instrument cluster harness connector terminal No. 32 (Pink wire) to ground. If test light lights, repair open in Yellow/Black wire. If no open is found, repair and/or replace instrument cluster. If test light does not light, repair open in Pink wire.
