NOTE: Information in this article also applies to vehicles equipped with Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS); however, not all information on ABS is included in this article. See ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM article.

NOTE: On vehicles with full-floating axle, axle shaft and hub must be removed to remove brake disc or drum. See Figure and Figure. On vehicles with semi-floating axle, brake drum can be removed without removing axle shaft.
