Low Beam Headlamps Inoperative

  1. Turn headlamp and panel dimmer switch to ON. Move headlamp dimmer switch to LO position. Backprobe headlamp dimmer switch connector with a test lamp from terminal "A" to ground. If test lamp does not light, replace headlamp dimmer switch. If test lamp lights, go to next step.
  2. With headlamp dimmer switch in LO, remove daytime running lamp relay and connect a test lamp at terminal G5 to ground. If test lamp does not light, service/repair open in Purple wire between headlamp dimmer switch and daytime running lamp. If test lamp lights, go to next step.
  3. Reinstall daytime running lamp relay. Backprobe terminal "B" at high/low beam headlamp with headlamp dimmer switch in LO position. If test lamp lights, replace high/low beam headlamps. If test lamp does not light, service/repair open in Tan wire between daytime running lamp relay and high/low beam headlamp. If okay, replace daytime running lamp relay.
