Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) Are Operational At All Times

  1. Turn ignition switch to RUN. If daytime running lights (DRL) indicator is lit, go to next step. If daytime running lights (DRL) indicator is not lit, go to step 4).
  2. Disconnect DRL module. If DRL indicator is lit, go to next step. If DRL indicator is not lit, replace DRL module.
  3. Disconnect instrument cluster printed circuit connector. If DRL disables, replace instrument cluster. If DRL does not disable, service/repair short to ground in Light Green/Black wire between instrument cluster printed circuit and convenience center.
  4. Remove DRL relay from convenience center. If DRL disables, replace DRL relay. If DRL does not disable, service/repair short to voltage in Tan wire between convenience center and left Hi/Lo beam headlamp (Base Headlamps) and left high beam headlamp (Quad Headlamps).
