Direct Clutch Assembly: Disassembly

Disassemble intermediate sprag clutch assembly. Discard spiral snap ring. Remove direct clutch plates See Fig 1. Using Clutch Compressor (J-23327) and Adapter (J-25018-A), compress direct clutch springs, and remove snap ring.
