Shock Absorber: Installation

  1. Install the shock absorber (13) to the frame.
  2. Install the spring washer (15) and/or washer (21).
  3. Install the nut (16). Tighten to 40 ft. lbs. (55 N.m).
  4. Install the shock absorber (13) to the axle. Line up shock absorber with the axle bracket.
  5. Install the bolt (14), spring washer (12), and nut (11). Tighten the nut to 125 ft. lbs. (170 N.m).
  6. Lower vehicle.
