Oil Pan: Removal

  1. Disconnect batteries. Raise and support vehicle. Drain crankcase. Remove oil filter. Remove flywheel cover. Remove long bolt from left engine mount. Raise and support engine. Remove strut rods.
  2. Remove battery cables, automatic transmission fluid cooler lines and clamps from oil pan. Move cylinder block heater wire aside (if equipped). Raise and support engine. Remove oil pan bolts, oil pan and oil pan rear seal.
