Gauge Always Indicates Hot

Unplug temperature sending unit connector. Turn ignition on. If gauge indicates cold, replace temperature sending unit. If gauge does not indicate cold, check for open circuit in Dark Green wire between sending unit and gauge. If circuit is okay, see GAUGE INACCURATE under COOLANT TEMPERATURE GAUGE (GASOLINE) .
