Light Stays On (Van)

  1. Turn ignition on. Unplug connector from brake pressure warning switch, located on proportioning valve, on left frame rail. If warning light stays on, go to next step. If warning light goes out, check brake system for leaks or loss of fluid.
  2. Turn ignition off. Unplug ABS module connector, located under right side at frame rail. Turn ignition on. If warning remains on, repair short in Tan wire between brake pressure warning switch and warning light, or between ABS module and warning light. If warning light goes out, check ABS system.
