Rear Caliper (Disc Brakes): Removal
- Remove two-thirds of the brake fluid from master cylinder. Raise vehicle and support with safety stands. Mark relationship of wheel to hub. Remove wheel.
- Position a C-clamp and tighten until piston bottoms in bore. SeeFigure. Remove C-clamp. Remove brake hose.
- Remove bolt. Support key and spring. Use a brass punch and a hammer to drive the support key out. See Figure. Remove caliper assembly.
