Instrument Panel Compartment Box Lamp Inoperative

Disconnect instrument panel compartment box lamp connector. Connect test lamp from instrument panel compartment box lamp connector terminal "A" to battery positive terminal. If test lamp does not light, service/repair open in Black wire between instrument panel compartment box lamp and ground. If test lamp lights, check for an open in Orange wire between instrument panel compartment box lamp and instrument panel fuse block. If okay, replace instrument panel compartment box lamp.
