Gauge Constantly Indicates 80 Or More

Check for open circuit between gauge and sending unit by disconnecting lead at sending unit. Connect lead to ground. If oil pressure gauge indicates zero, replace oil pressure gauge sending unit. If oil pressure gauge still indicates 80 psi or beyond, repair open wire between gauge and sending unit.
