Oil Pan: Installation

  1. Apply RTV sealant to front cover-to-cylinder block junction and rear main bearing-to-cylinder block junction.
  2. Install oil pan. Tighten oil pan bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  at end of article. To install remaining components, reverse removal procedure. Fill crankcase.
