Gauge Reads High Pressure

Disconnect lead at sending unit. Turn ignition on. Connect a fused jumper wire from sending unit Tan wire to ground. If gauge reads low pressure, replace oil pressure sending unit. If fuel gauge reads high pressure, check for open circuit in Tan wire. If circuit is okay, replace instrument cluster.
