Gauge Reads Too Hot

Disconnect temperature sending unit lead connector. Turn ignition on. If gauge reads cold, replace temperature sending unit. If gauge does not read cold, check for open circuit in Dark Green wire. If circuit is okay, see GAUGE INACCURATE under COOLANT TEMPERATURE GAUGE.
